LIFELINE is a federal government program that enables qualified low-income applicants to receive a discount for services.

To be eligible for LIFELINE, an applicant must qualify under one of these categories:

• A. Medicaid
• B. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP)
• C. Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• D. Veterans Pension or Survivors Benefit Programs
• E. Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
• F. Income of 135% or less of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
• G. Domestic violence survivors can qualify For An Emergency LIFELINE benefit through the Safe Connections Act (SCA)
